Executive Coaching

In a country like Australia sport is a way of living. And sports isn't a recreational activity for them. One of my cousins lives there and she has this to say

" Down Under of you aren't the sporting kind and not part take in any professional sporting affiliation you just arent a part of the Australian main stream society mate!!!"

And most sporting disciplines have a distinct patronage to the religion of professional coaching. Little then is a surprise that the winningest cricket team in the last two decade happens to be Australians. And the famed Chappell Way , Tom Moody , Geff Lawson and the now SRK's in vogue IPL team has John Buchanan with the reins honing uber cricketing talents.

Australia more than any other country has identified and aggressively adopted Coaching" as a practice . Many a organisations , enterprises and businesses have now made coaching a main stream DNA in corporate performance enhancement endeavour.

Quite naturally outside Americas and part of western europe ,Australia leads in the count of professionals ( as many as 600 plus in a ICF estimate ) .

For a country like India which is the new media darling flogging all available print space in the fourth estate , television and Internet media for the astounding near double digit GDP growth rate , Executive Coaching is the just appropriate shot of corporate Viagra to the many lion hearted entrepreneurs going global.

When growth is a given , the method to the madness is of many myriad proportions. It is here then that the practice of Executive Coaching breaks out of the holy grail doctrine to main stream in your face solution for the challenges Corporate Chieftains in India content as they take aim at the global arena.

One of the leading consulting majors observes that while it takes 25 long years for person to attain rounded executive development , in parts of Asia the time is halved. In some sectors like the BPO the leadership ceiling has grown shorter to say some 5-8 years experience.

Now this is a massive compression and this can lead to burnouts faster.

PeopleSmart has always based its business upon strong fundamentals and has grown its half a decade business by virtue of rendering consulting services to the highest impact areas. More than ever before the highest impact and greatest value add happens at two vantage points in the market.

1. At the points where the customer transacts business.

PeopleSmart has been lucky to have a leader in VenuGopal a seasoned business visionary in the space of Human Capital Business in India with over 2 decades of rich experience. It has been his brain child to shape and thrust impetus to an initiative as significant as "Executive Coaching" . Along with some like minded leaders from the Industry, Government and Society he has championed the cause of proliferating "Executive Coaching" by Co Founding the India Chapter of International Coaching Federation.

They say the "proof of the pudding is in the eating"..PeopleSmart today boast of the largest bench of Certified and Credentialed Executive Coaches.

It is our endeavour to grow the practice of Executive Coaching into a religion and a way of life. Serendipity may have played its part in landing India this opportunity to define the golden age of tomorrow. But with effective adoption of change management , break through thinking and leadership disciplines like Executive Coaching , Visioning , Strategy et al we can make the and design the future with Certainty TODAY.

This blog is the first salvo into advertising the may breakthrough view points that the Smartians from PeopleSmart shall voice in future. Mr. Aravind Coach is basically to set your goals in right direction.Coach never helps you to define your goals ,coach priorities the goals. In this context does Coach really have it with Him/Her to manage them self or do they need someone else to coach them.
In this opportunistic world individuals are looking at higher benefits in lesser amount of time. So obviously they under go stress, personal problems & more. So at present in India, coaching is very new terminology.
Those who are getting certified as coach or certified coaches really manage them in these streams!!!

So we are PeopleSmart have to take this to next level and build structure and success around this
